This tutorial was made with PSP 2020 Ultimate

but can be done with other versions of Psp the colours may vary significantly depending on the Psp used.

Let's start the lesson

NARAH la pro des masques/NARAH the mask professional

- Preparation

-Material Properties: Set your foreground color to color #ffffff =3 – Set your background color to color #7599b6=1

1. Open the Background image Fond-Narah- Promote Background Layer =Raster 1

2. Layers- Duplicate

3. Layers- New Mask Layer-From Image and select Mask- ’’Narah_mask_0179.jpg’’

- Layers- Merge- Merge Group

4. Effects- 3D Effects- Drop Shadow with these settings: 2/4/75/32 Color black

- Repeat; Effects- 3D Effects- Drop Shadow with these settings

- Stay on this layer

5. Layers- New Mask Layer-From Image and select Mask- ‘’Narah_mask_0170.jpg’’

- Layers- Merge- Merge Group

6. Layers-Properties-Change the Blend Mode to " Multiply " and Lower the Opacity to 81%

7. Image - Negative Image

- Activate the bottom of the layer palette = Raster 1

8. Layers- New Raster Layer

9. Selections – Select All

10. Open the tube ‘’ Narah- Image 1’’ -Edit - Copy- Activate your work -Edit - Paste into selection

11. Effects –Plugins- Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Designers sf10 IV> - @BlueBerry Pie

- Repeat - Effects –Plugins- Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Designers sf10 IV> - @BlueBerry Pie

12. Effects – Image Effects – Seamless Tiling-use the settings below

13. Effects – Edge Effects- Enhance

14. Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection: ‘’Narah-1’’

15. Selections- Promote Selection to Layer

16. Effects – Plugins– Carolaine & Sensibility – CS-Reflection use the settings below

17. Effects – Plugins – Alien Skin EyeCandy 5- Impact – Glass –use the settings below - Color : #acacac

18. Effects – Plugins- AP[Blur] Blur - MinMaxCross use the settings below

19.Effects- 3D Effects- Drop Shadow with these settings:  0/0/45/8 Color black

- To replace the top of the layer-palette

20. Layers- New Raster Layer

21. Flood Fill Tool– Fill the layer with the background color #7599b6 =1

22. Layers- New Mask Layer-From Image and select Mask- ‘’ Narah_mask_0571’’

- Layers- Merge- Merge Group

23. Effects –Edge Effects – Enhance

24. Effects-User Defined Filter – Emboss 3 using the default settings

25. Open the tube ‘’Renee-TUBES-Narah-Gouttes’’ -Edit - Copy- Activate your work -Edit - Paste as a new layer

26. Pick Tool: (K) on your keyboard -Enter these parameters on the toolbar

  429/ -3

-Press ( M ) to close the Pick Tool

27. Effects -Plugins- Alien Skin EyeCandy 5 Impact  - Perspective Shadow use the settings below

28. Open the tube‘’Renee-TUBES-Narah- taches’’ - Edit - Copy- Activate your work -Edit - Paste as a new layer

29. Pick Tool: (K) on your keyboard -Enter these parameters on the toolbar

-Press ( M ) to close the Pick Tool

- Layer palette – Make Raster 2 active

30. Layers- New Raster Layer

31. Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection: ‘’Narah-2’’

32. Flood Fill Tool- Fill the selection with the foreground color # ffffff (2 clicks )

33. Effects- 3D-Effects - Drop Shadow with these settings: 1/1/100/1 Color black

34. Layers-Properties-Change the Blend Mode to "Screen"

- Activate the bottom of the layer palette =Raster 1

35. Layers- Duplicate

36. Layers- Arrange-Move Up ( above raster 2)

37. Effects –Plugins- Unlimited – ICNET- Filters - Special Effects 2- Filmstrip using the default settings

38. Effects – Plugins – Mura’s Meister – Perspective Tiling use the settings below

38a . Effects – Plugins - Fotomatic- SkyGrap( this effect is not mandatory it is just used to clarify if necessary)

- Layer Palette- Make Raster 5 aktive

39. Activate Selection Tool -Custom Selection (S) -Rectangle with these setting

DELETE

-You should have this result

- Activate Copy of Raster 1 in the Layers palette

40. Effects - Plugins- Alien Skin EyeCandy 5 Impact  - Perspective Shadow use the settings below

- To replace the top of the layer-palette

41. We Are Going to Decorate  - Open the tube ‘’ Renee-TUBES-Narah-Decos-Masques’’ -  Edit - Copy- Activate your work -Edit - Paste as a new layer and place the decorative elements individually according to your taste

42. Place a drop shadow to taste (For Renée)

- Activate Copy of Raster 1 in the Layers palette

Do not add a new layer

43. Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection: ‘’Narah-3’’

44. Effects – Plugins – Alien Skin Eyecandy 5- Textures –Stone Wall -Tab-Settings/User settings and select my file- Preset : Stones-Narah (colors to be adapted according to your choice)

45. Effects – Edge Effects- Enhance More

- Activate the top of the layer palette

46. Layers- New Raster Layer

47. Activate Selection Tool -Custom Selection (S) -Rectangle with these setting

48. Flood Fill Tool - Fill the selection with the Foreground color #ffffff =3

49. Selections - Modify - Contract by 2 Pixels

Delete

50. Color-Palette-Set the Foreground color to color # ae3930 = 2

Flood Fill Tool - Fill the selection with the Foreground color #ae3930= 2 

51. Selections - Modify - Contract by 2 Pixels

Delete

52. Color-Palette-Set the Foreground color to color #ffffff=3

Flood Fill Tool - Fill the selection with the Foreground color #ffffff =3

49. Selections - Modify - Contract by 5 Pixels

Delete

53. Effects –Plugins- Alien Skin EyeCandy 5 – Impact – Glass use the settings below

54. Layers- New Raster Layer

66. Text tool- with font of your choice -Renée chose the font ’Lobster Two ‘’ Write -Narah... la pro des masques

- Or paste my title

- Move it in the right place

67. Image - Rotate Left

68. Image - Add borders-Symmetric checked: 1 Pixel Color black

69. Image - Add borders-Symmetric checked: 20 Pixels Color white

70. Image - Add borders-Symmetric checked: 1 Pixel Color black

71. Image - Add borders-Symmetric checked: 50 Pixels Color white

72. Selections - Select All

73. Selections – Modify  Contract by 35 Pixels

74. Effects- 3D-Effects -Drop Shadow with these settings: 0/0/85/45 Color black

75. Open the tube ‘’ Renee-TUBES-Narah-Fillette’’ -Edit - Copy- Activate your work -Edit - Paste as a new layer

- Move the tube in the right place

76. Layers- Merge- Merge All ( flatten)

77. Image - Resize to 1015 pixels Width

Save as JPG
